The site is located in Inveraray, exposed to the south-east the site receives plenty of light creating opportunities for light to be crafted in several ways.

Light guides you through to the main space from the point of entrance, the ribbon light well is feature adding to the spatial guidance. The structure is designed to manipulate light in order to evoke emotions  and create desired atmospheres. Light adorns the spaces, highlights elements of importance and aids in contemplation.

The plan follows the concept of the town being a grid, including the organisation of service and liturgical spaces into a core and having the nave be the main focus in the plan. Being a series of planes, the plan emphasises a hierarchy of spaces and private public relations. By playing with volumes the nave is distinguished from the exterior and highlighted as the main space.
